JoJo Siwa stops concert to yell at audience member who booed her: 'Respectfully, f--- you'

Siwa performed in New York City on Saturday night as part of "Drag Race" icon Trixie Mattel's show.

Karma's a bitch for whatever audience member decided to boo JoJo Siwa during a recent performance in New York City's Central Park.

According to a TikTok video posted by an attendee (below), the 21-year-old queer pop star and dancer paused a Saturday night Pride performance at RuPaul's Drag Race legend Trixie Mattel's concert to yell at a member of the audience who booed her in the middle of the show.

"Who the living f--- just booed me?" the Dance Moms personality — clad in an outfit complete with teddy bear heads posted around her body — shouted on stage, before she and her dancers paced around the set in search of the culprit.

"Where the f--- did that come from? Which one of you? Which one of you?" she repeated, looking into the crowd.

Siwa eventually gave up on the hunt, and continued with the show before giving the culprit a stern message: "Respectfully, f--- you!"

Entertainment Weekly has reached out to representatives for Siwa for comment.

The former child star recently rebranded her colorful persona to adopt a more adult-oriented look and sound to accompany the April release of her pop single "Karma."

Though the tune marked a lyrical departure from her prior kid-friendly material, the song and its accompanying music video were met with universally negative reviews from critics and audiences.

Despite its negative reception, "Karma" has amassed over 44 million plays on YouTube, and reached No. 22 on the Billboard Bubbling Under Hot 100 chart — an extension of the Billboard Hot 100.

Siwa previously said that, with her new era, she wanted to "invent" a subgenre of pop music for the LGBTQ+ community.

Speaking with TMZ in a follow-up interview, Siwa acknowledged criticism over her prior comments, and acknowledged that other artists established the music offshoot before her.

"I definitely am not the inventor of gay pop, for sure not," Siwa said. "But I do want to be a piece in making it bigger than it already is. I want to bring more attention to it."
