In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. My mother was unable to get me to focus on anything as a toddler. Until one day, I had been given a cassette player and for the first time she saw me focus on something at length. From there it was piano, and thus began my journey into music What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? KAYTRANADA, BUBBA Kendrick Lamar, To Pimp a Butterfly SZA, Ctrl These three albums have given me the clearest depiction of my taste in music. My love for hiphop, my love for music that makes you move and my love for music that is moody and feelings-driven Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “Heat” This song is very special to me. It literally changed my life and the moment it captured in my life was very transformative. I would not be the person or the musician I am today, were it not not for those experiences. What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? Getting nominated for a grammy with a bunch of my friends, the first of many. Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? I would like to Tour the world with my music.
