In this skit from Eminem’s 12th studio album The Death of Slim Shady, Em finds himself held captive by his alter ego, Slim Shady, as they navigate the aftermath of Slim’s attempt to make Eminem appear as though he’s trying to get himself “canceled” with his new album.

The protest scene is narrated by Detroit news anchors Kimberly Gill and Devin Scillian, who offer a critical overview of the public’s outrage, with the demonstrators rallying outside Eminem’s restaurant, “Mom’s Spaghetti”. Part of this skit was visualized in the “Basement Trailer” video which was posted just hours before the album’s release.
