About Bambie Thug

Cuntry Ray Robinson (born March 6, 1993), better known as Bambie Thug, is an Irish non-binary singer-songwriter from Cork, Ireland.

Bambie initially planned to start out as a dancer, but after suffering an arm injury, they turned to music and performance art. Bambie Thug characterizes their music as “Ouija-pop."

Robinson released their debut single, “Birthday,” on 5 March 2021, which was written while they were addicted to drugs. Robinson then followed with 2 EPs the same year: Psilocyber and High Romancy.

During the Late Late Show on 26 January 2024, Bambie was selected to represent Ireland at the Eurovision Song Contest 2024 in Malmö, Sweden after receiving the highest combined points with the song “Doomsday Blue” from their third EP, Cathexis, released in October 2023.

Beyond their solo work, Bambie has collaborated with and co-written for other artists, including Cassyette, brother sundance, and KID BRUNSWICK.
