Demi Chelsy Malto, or DEMI (deh-mi), is an independent R&B Filipino artist based in Manila whose sounds are influenced by the likes of Kiana Lede, Kehlani, UMI, Jhene Aiko, etc., which is an effect of her listening to international and local R&B artists & rappers growing up. Influenced by her environment as a teen, she was inclined with Filipino R&B/rap music. Thus, DEMI’s sounds are described as a fusion of international and local music as she continues to produce Tagalog-English tracks.
