Hamilton (leg) participated in team drills during Tuesday's practice session, Jonas Shaffer of TheBaltimoreBanner.com reports. Hamilton left Sunday's practice with a left leg injury, but he appears to have recovered after sitting out of Monday's session. Hamilton's return is a welcome one for the Ravens, whose secondary depth has taken a hit with injuries to Nate Wiggins (shoulder), Sanoussi Kane (neck), Trayvon Mullen (shoulder) and Arthur Maulet (knee).
The Ravens signed Kelly to a contract Tuesday. Kelly spent most of last season on Cleveland's practice squad but didn't suit up for a regular-season game with the team. The 2018 sixth-round pick now has a chance to compete for a deep depth role in Baltimore, with his best-case scenario likely to be a spot on the practice squad again.
Tampa (hernia) was removed from the Ravens' active/PUP list Monday, Jeff Zrebiec of The Athletic reports. Ravens head coach Jim Harbaugh said Sunday that he didn't expect Tampa to practice this week, but the rookie corner was able to exceed that expectation and participated in individual drills Monday, per Ryan Mink of the team's official site. Tampa had double hernia surgery in July and had been sidelined since the start of training camp. He'll now have multiple weeks to show off his skill set as he works toward what is likely to be a depth role in the Ravens' secondary.

Bateman, who exited last Monday's practice, didn't play in Friday's preseason opener, but now the wideout is back on the field, he'll have an opportunity to cement his key role in the Ravens' passing attack alongside fellow starting WR Zay Flowers. Assuming he can stay healthy, the 2021 first-rounder could be poised for a breakout effort in 2024 while working as one of QB Lamar Jackson's primary targets.
Roche did not participate in Sunday's practice due to an undisclosed injury, Jeff Zrebiec of The Athletic reports. Roche caught on with the Ravens in late July after not being rostered on a team in 2023. The 2021 sixth-round pick did not play in Friday's 16-13 preseason loss to the Eagles, perhaps due to his unspecified injury. Roche is competing for a depth spot at outside linebacker, and missing time due to injury will hurt his already slim chances of making the Ravens' 53-man roster.
Wright had seven carries for a team-leading 33 yards in Friday's preseason game against the Eagles. The Monmouth running back spent much of last season on the practice squad save for one appearance when he played special teams against the Cardinals. Wright and rookie Rasheen Ali saw the bulk of the backfield work Friday as the Ravens sort through their depth options behind Derrick Henry and Justice Hill going into the season. Though Wright outperformed Ali (10 carries, 26 yards), the team has more invested in the rookie and therefore Wright will need to thoroughly outplay him the rest of the preseason to have a shot at beating him out for a roster spot.
